About TerryDR
We’re a team of pathologists, bioinformatics engineers, and hardware designers, united by one idea: spatial pathology should be practical, affordable, and reproducible — for every lab that needs it.

Built by Pathologists, For Pathologists
From a Single QuPath Script
TerryDR started with a frustrating question: why was spatial biology analysis still locked behind expensive software and inaccessible workflows? Our founders — a pathologist and a computer vision engineer — wrote their first QuPath script to quantify tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, and TerryDR grew from there.
Today, we operate as a vertically integrated spatial pathology company: scanners, stainers, sample-prep platforms, AI software, and full-stack analysis services — all under one roof.
Why We Care
Multiplex fluorescence is the low-hanging fruit of high-impact pathology research. We want every lab — not just the well-funded ones — to be able to use it. That means lowering the cost of consumables, automating the slow parts, and packaging the analysis software so it actually works out of the box.
We succeed when a customer gets publication-grade spatial data without needing a year to learn QuPath or a grant to afford the software license.
20+ Patents & Software Copyrights
Vertical integration means we own the core IP — from microscope positioning and automated staining to super-resolution imaging and slide-scan paths.

Four Principles That Drive Every Release
Reproducibility First
The same protocol should produce the same result on different days, instruments, and sites. We design every step to be auditable.
Standard Antibodies, Always
No proprietary consumables. TerryDR hardware and software work with the antibodies and reagents your lab already uses.
Open Interfaces
Standard formats, documented APIs, and interchangeable modules. TerryDR fits into your pipeline, not the other way around.
Cost as a Feature
Low reagent cost and accessible instrument pricing are part of the product spec. Resource tools can’t do more with less.
The Team Behind TerryDR
Pathologists, computer vision researchers, microfluidic engineers, and software architects — collaborating under one roof.
Clinical Pathology
Board-certified pathologists who bridge clinical practice and research workflows.
Bioinformatics
PhD-level scientists specializing in multiplex fluorescence, image-based ML, and high-dim data mining.
Hardware Engineering
Mechanical, optical, and microfluidic engineers who design and build the TR-Stainer and TR-sWSI platforms.
Software Architecture
Engineers building the QuPath plugins, the TR-AI assistant, and the cloud delivery infrastructure.
